These lenses are often referred to as  Mid Index Thin or Light Lenses and are a blend of superior optics with their design. 

Since they are 15% thinner than 1.5 index this makes them a good lens for stronger prescriptions. 

This lens has an anti-electromagnetic radiation surface coating. This invisible barrier filters out 100% electromagnetic radiation waves and does not produce static electricity. This in turn offers even more protection for the eyes.

Spheric lenses have a single curve in their design, while aspheric lenses offer varying deflection  This unique design make lenses thinner and create an over all flat surface making them esthetically pleasing because they prevent magnifcation of your eyes. 

They are not polarized.
